I’m a foreigner living in the Bay Area, trying to infiltrate the mind and soul of this country.

This blog has one basic principal:

1. Right or wrong – Bullshit with confidence.

Thank you. Come again.

  3. Thanks for the comment on my blog. Enjoy your blog. About Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, he’s f—ing scary, but the really Hilter-ish threat right now is North Korea. The military couldn’t occupy a bathroom, but his nukes could destroy half the world. Ugh.
I think a peace deal for Palestine would defuse a lot of the problems with Iran and Al Qaeda.

  4. Peace deal for Palestine? My friend, you are far more optimistic than you should be…one thing I know for a fact….there will be no peace in the middle east during my lifetime.

    hopefully I’m wrong, though.

  5. yes, we all wish for peace for palestine, but how? that situation is very sad. i have my own opinions on this subject but i am not allowed to comment on political issues because i am too passionate about my feelings on the issue. i have been warned they willkick me off the internet if i cause any more trouble. (smile) i’ll jsut say this before i go: the country we should worry about is the united states and our foreign policy regarding israel. not to mention the complete unraveling of our constitution. oops, i’ve already said too much. gotta split.

    • A very sad situation indeed, for both Israelis and Palestinians. Even sadder is that neither of them is trying to make a difference in the most important and crucial place – educating the next generation.
Because for as long as they will continue to grow in this reality and in their elders’ state of mind, nothing will ever change.

It’s good that you are passionate about it, and very rare in this self-centered society. However I will advise you to learn this specific situation inside out before you reach any conclusion… It’s so complicated and convoluted, and very often I meet people who are uber passionate, yet don’t really know many of the facts – whether they support one side or the other.

      More power to you.

  6. know it inside and out? hell, american’s won’t even get up off the couch unless you offer them something for free in return. because as the whole world knows, each of us has our price and can be bought…. my real point was really concerning the u.s. rather than the middle east.

yes, i agree very complicated situation over there and i am so disappointed in my fellow american citizens for being ignorant about the foreign policy of their own gov’t ~as though it doesn’t concern them. thank you for your intellectual banter but i just got an email threatening interruption of my service if i go any further with this conversation. 🙂
